Toga Party
Because of Animal House way back in the day, the toga party theme became an instant college party classic... and it's still the shit today!
I actually didn’t even think Animal House was all that great of a movie. =P Then again, I didn’t watch the whole thing... but I gotta admit, they did help immortalize the toga parties! And for that, I gotta give ‘em props!

You got 2 options: you can either make your own toga outfit or buy an outfit. Most people make their own, but if you wanna stand out more, there are plenty of options to buy one online, including here and here.
As far as dressing yourself up for the toga party, the simplest way to go is to just wear some sandals and use your bed sheets to make a toga...
Guys - all you need to do is put on some shorts, wrap half the bed sheet around your waist (tuck the sheet in over your shorts to hold it in place), and throw the remaining half of the bedsheet across your chest over your shoulder (then tuck the tip in behind you... or just let it hang).

Ladies - you can use the full length of the bed sheet to do a double wrap around your chest and waist, then just secure the layers as needed. You can hold the lower section in place in similar fashion as above, by tucking it in over some shorts/underclothes (or a belt hidden underneath the folds will do too). And for the top section... you may need to use a few pins to make sure it stays in place throughout the night, but use your own discretion.

Setting (optional, but cool to do)
Think ancient Greek! You’re in garments and sandals like them, might as well set the surroundings likewise. But you don’t have to spend money to do so, you can just use some stuff around the house to decorate. (It’s a lil’ ghetto, but what isn’t when you’re in college?)
Here are some decoration ideas for starters:
- Use color themes that are light… like white, tan, light blue, etc
- Cover the furniture around the house in stone-colored cloths/sheets
- Roll up blank sheets of colored paper (halfway from both sides) to make scrolls, and throw them on tables and counters
- Place some goblets of water on tables, with lily pads (or potpourri and such) floating on top
- Throw some lillies or rose peddles (or even some leaves) all over the place, to give it a lil' ancient, outdoorsy look
- Wrap stone-colored sheets around tall lamps as make-shift Greek columns
- Etc... use your imagination and creativity for some more decoration ideas
