While going to a college party can be fun and cheap, some would still rather go to a night club if possible. However, you can have the best of both worlds if you turn your frat house or crib into a makeshift club for a Night Club Party. Aside from the booze and music, you'll need two things: strobe lights and lasers. You could add glow sticks to that list, but your guests will probably bring some of their own anyways. For drinks, stock up on plenty of booze and hard liquors for mixed drinks and shots.
***below-paragraph-1.shtml***Night clubs have plenty to offer: great music, space to dance, plenty of drinks available at the bar, but they also have dress codes and cover charges. With a college night club party, you can have all the fun without the strict guidelines. You can come dressed however you want, and leave the cover charges behind. But at least try to wear something resembling what you'd normally wear hitting the clubs though. Also make sure that you have enough space to let your guests dance to the music that's playing.
Speaking of music, make sure to grab music that's upbeat and positive. Club mixes are a good start, but you can choose whatever you wish. For those who want to rest their feet for awhile, have a couple drinking games set up for them and anyone who doesn't feel like dancing all night (or at all). Just have some pitchers and playing cards made available, and if you got room set up a table in the garage (or elsewhere spacious) for some beer pong or other table drinking games. If you got a pool table that'd be better though, 'cause beer pong isn't exactly a club activity. But hey, it's better than nothing, your guests need some other shit to do after all.
You can find the supplies you need and party decorations at your local retail and liquor stores in your area. The strobe lights and lasers will probably be the most expensive thing to buy, which you may be able to find cheaper online. However, you can always rent them for less too, if you don't want extra stuff taking up space. Check your local listings for some party supply stores that rent out equipment.
