Tired of the same old college drinking games?
Then create your own college party games and get shitfaced in brand new ways! It's pretty simple, really, when you think about it...
What do ALL drinking games ever invented have in common? Drinking... and more drinking, right? So how do you create your own drinking party game? Simple! Take an already existing game you like and just add drinking elements into it!
It could be from any game! A card game, dice game, board game, table game, sports game, whatever! Just add the drinking elements and tweak some of the basic rules as necessary... and vuala! You got yourself a brand new drinking game to play 'til your heart's content... or rather, your blood alcohol system's content!
This is exactly how all the dope games like beer pong (which came from ping pong) came about... from an already existing game!
Most everybody knows the jist of how to play poker, right? If you wanna turn it into a drinking party game, here's how it can be played out...
Play the game as usual, but instead of chips, use quantities of drinks to call, bet, and raise with. (e.g. - Sara bets 2 drinks, Lwood raises 4 drinks, Teddy calls 6 drinks, etc.)
1 drink = 1 sip from your drink
All in = your whole drink
Whatever # of drinks you call, bet, or raise with throughout the hand, that means you're risking that # of drinks. So if you lose/fold, you have to drink the total # of drinks that you risked in that hand. But if you win the hand, you don't have to drink, you just have to make sure all the losers drink what they're supposed to! (You can also make a rule where the winner gets to deal out additional drinks, punishments, etc, if you wish).
Then at the end of each hand, everybody gets dealt and it starts all over again! (This can be played with any kind of poker game... Texas Hold'em, Omaha, 7-card stud, whatever)
- Whenever someone gets a straight, it's a social (everybody drinks).
- A flush can be a waterfall (everybody drinks until the person to their left stops).
- A full house, everybody chugs (last to finish has to be the beer bitch)!
- Quads, the lucky quad-holder does a keg stand.
- A straight flush can be a streak around the block.
- And a royal flush can be... whatever, I'm sure you'll think of something
The cool thing about creating your own college party games is that nothing is set in stone. You can continue tweaking the game's rules as necessary. And you don't have to come up with all the rules before you start playing a new game either... You and your friends can just decide what to change as you play along.
But just Keep It Simple Stupid! You remember that K.I.S.S. crap? Well, it actually works. Like with the poker example above, I only changed one basic rule to poker and now I got myself a new college party game to play... which we'll just call "Fuck'em Poker" from now on. (That's another thing, don't forget to name your game, it's your shit!)
