Cocktail Recipes with Gin

• Alexander - Equal parts gin, creme de cacao, and half and half; mixed in a cocktail shaker with ice

• Chocolate Soldier - Gin, vermouth, and juice of half a lime

• Smoky Martini - Gin with a splash of Scotch whiskey, stirred and garnished with a lemon peel
• Vesper (from Casino Royale) - 6 parts Gin, 2 parts vodka, and 1 part Lillet Blanc

Cocktail Recipes with Rum

• Bacardi - 9 parts Bacardi white rum, 4 parts lemon or lime juice, 1 part grenadine syrup
• Bajan Rum Punch (Barbadian) - Goes by a national rhyme: "One of Sour, Two of Sweet, Three of Strong, Four of Weak." That's 1 part lime juice, 2 parts sweetener, 3 parts rum (preferably Barbados rum), and 4 parts water (or rather beer, in my opinion). Served with a dash or 2 of Angostura Bitters and Nutmeg.
• Black Cossack - A chilled Guinness containing vodka and rum
• Blue Hawaii - 3/4 ounce light rum, 3/4 ounce vodka, 1/2 ounce blue Curacao, 3 ounces pineapple juice, 1 ounce Sweet and Sour
• Brass Monkey - 1 part dark rum, 1 part vodka, 1 part orange juice
• Bumbo - 2 parts rum, 1 part water, 2 sugar cubes, and a sprinkle of cinnamon and nutmeg
• Caribbean Sunrise - 3 parts rum, 6 parts Orange juice, 1 part Grenadine syrup
• Caribou Lou - Bacardi 151, Malibu Rum, and pineapple juice
• Cuba Libre (aka Rum & Coke) - 1 part rum, 2 part cola, and a few drops of lime or lemon juice

• Daiquiri - 9 parts white rum, 4 parts lime juice, 1 part Gomme syrup (or grenadine)
• Dragonfly - 2 parts dark rum, 2 parts cranberry juice, and 1 part pineapple juice
• El Presidente - 2 parts rum, 1 part curaçao, 1 part dry vermouth, and a dash of grenadine
• Fish House Punch - 1 (750 ml) bottle of Rum, 12 oz Cognac (1½ cups), and 2 oz peach brandy (¼ cup); usually served on an ice block, in a punch bowl
• Flaming Dr. Pepper - [Contains no Dr Pepper, but named thus because it kinda tastes like the soda] Fill a shot glass with 3/4 Amaretto and 1/4 Bacardi 151 (layer the Bacardi, don't mix); then light the shot and drop into a glass half-filled with beer
• Grog (original sailor drink)- 1 part rum, 4 parts water or beer (the latter is recommended whenever available)
• Hairy Virgin - rum, orange liqueur, and apple juice
• Hurricane - 1 part dark rum, 1 part white rum, passion fruit syrup, and lime juice

Cocktail Recipes with Tequila

• Bloody Aztec - Tequila, cream, creme de cacao, and red food coloring
• Chimayó - 1 1/2 oz Tequila, 1 oz apple cider, 1/4 oz lemon juice, 1/4 oz creme de cassis
• Long Island Iced Tea - 3 parts Vodka, 3 parts Tequila, 3 parts White Rum, 3 parts Triple Sec, 3 parts Gin, 5 parts Lemon juice, 6 parts Gomme Syrup, and a dash of Cola
