Buffet Bash

Winters can be long and arduous for us college students. So if you're in the middle of a cold shitty winter or just wanna celebrate the good ol' times of summer for a day, break out a Buffet Bash to get everyone out of the winter doldrums.

Theme parties are absolutely among the most amusing ways that you can pass your time. One of the best summertime theme parties originated from the fans who love Jimmy Buffet music. The parties they throw are also called Margaritaville parties, but the primary name for them is a Buffet Bash.

The Buffet Bash is basicially just what it says that it is. Jimmy Buffet is notorious for chill island music, a free lifestyle, and always offering a free and easy good time. The Margaritaville party should be the same type of affair. Buffet's music is related to the tropics and outdoors, so the same type of music and theme should apply.

Playing a full array of Jimmy Buffet Music is the first prerequisite for making the party a full success. Decorations will be with the beach theme in mind and costumes could be anything from a straw beach hat to bikinis.

One of the coolest ways to throw this party is to bring in some sand and setup a beach or island setting in your backyard. We've even heard accounts of some parties that actually brought in the sand in their house, in a garage, and even a basement. (I'm sure that was a bitch to clean up though!)

If you wanna bring in sand but don't wanna carry it all, just make it an admisssion fee for everyone to bring a bucket of sand. Then dump it wherever you want your beach setting as the peeps pile in. Beach wear should be the admittance policy too.

If you're throwing this party in winter, jack the heater up to the nth degree in order to get that summertime feeling.

Don't forget to get plenty of margaritas and coronas! A buffet table of munchies would be suitable too I suppose. ;)
