7-11-Doubles, aka 'Pound', is a college party drinking game that uses table dice and a glass of beer (usually just beer, but liquor can be substituted).
***below-paragraph-1.shtml***The game starts when a person pours some alcohol (however much they want) into the glass in the middle of the table, then rolls the dice. Their objective is to roll a 7, 11, or doubles... if they do, then they get to designate a person to drink the glass in the middle of the table... if they don't, then the next person rolls the dice.
When a 7, 11, or doubles is rolled, the appointed drinker must finish drinking the glass before the roller rolls another 7, 11, or doubles. So the roller rolls again (and keeps rolling) AFTER the drinker they appointed touches the glass. If the roller rolls the dice again BEFORE the drinker touches the glass, then it's considered a foul and the roller must drink the glass instead and pass the dice to the next player.
If the drinker finishes the glass of alcohol and puts the glass back on the table before the roller rolls another 7, 11, or doubles, then he/she fills the glass back up to however much they want, and the dice are passed to the next person. (Turns usually just go around the table to the next player, but you can also do turns where the drinker becomes the next roller)
If the drinker doesn't finish the glass before the roller rolls a 7, 11, or doubles, then the process is repeated again until they beat the roller. But at any point, another player may 'steal' the glass and chug it in place of the designated drinker. (This rule may be omitted or amended, depending on how you want to play) In this instance, the person who stole the glass becomes the designated drinker intead.
